DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY     

MUTHU VIJAIYAN

Muthu Vijaiyan was born in the temple town of Madurai, south of India on 22^nd August, 1974.

An associate degree in Aircraft Maintenance and subsequent training and jobs needed moving between Bombay, Nagpur, Bangalore and Hyderabad from time to time over the next few years exposing to different regions and communities. This created a platform for him to refresh and rekindle long last cravings to be a creator.

Quitting professional career in Aviation he moved to Hyderabad and took up odd jobs in designing websites, posters and print jobs to be able to spend quality time in writing stories and experimenting with sound. 

Backseat is his debut film and in a way reflects his innermost vulnerabilities and contradictions as a struggling creator.
